01 / The brand
Discovering an artist’s identity.
Influenced by the neon glow of ’80s cyberpunk, this brand identity project was a study in aesthetic-first design.
We drew heavily from both the owner’s personal taste in movies as well as the artistic flair that identified her work. The high contrast color palette uses primarily neon pink and blue on dark backgrounds to create bold and eye-catching designs.

Turning over a new page.
San Diego native tattoo artist Mel Cox opened The Neon Jackal Tattoo in northwest Houston in July of 2020. With a stacked roster of experienced artists and an impressive collective portfolio, the tattoo shop was only lacking a visual brand identity to represent them.
Together we reinvented the shop’s print collateral and built an online presence to showcase her new brand identity.
